It is the EOFY!

As we approach the end of the 2024–25 financial year, it’s a timely reminder for all businesses to review their compliance, record-keeping, and reporting obligations.

The end of the financial year is more than just a date on the calendar—it’s a crucial period for ensuring your business meets all regulatory requirements. Staying on top of your obligations helps you avoid penalties, maintain good standing with regulatory bodies, and set your business up for success in the new financial year.

With ongoing changes to tax, superannuation, and workplace laws, it’s important to stay informed and proactive. EOFY is the perfect time to review your processes and ensure everything is in order for a smooth transition into the new financial year.

What have we been up to?

🎉 We’re Celebrating Our Superstars! 🎉

A massive round of applause for our incredible team members, Holly, Kelly and Felicity, who have just completed their NDIS Quality Auditor Training!

This is a huge achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder!

We will soon begin auditing NDIS providers seeking registration and we will continue to deliver external ISO audits too!

This means we’re expanding our horizons and making a real difference in the sector.

We are pleased to share that another council (Hepburn Shire Councils Depot teams) have recently completed our popular interactive SWMS workshop.

In addition to local government, we have successfully delivered this training to a variety of private construction companies.

The ATO and Superannuation

This year, the ATO is ramping up enforcement efforts around superannuation compliance, highlighting the significant issue of unpaid superannuation—currently affecting Australian workers to the tune of $3.4 billion annually. Businesses are reminded to ensure all superannuation obligations are met, including timely payments and accurate reporting, to avoid penalties and protect employee entitlement.

From 1 July 2025, reduced tax concessions will apply to superannuation balances above $3 million, and further reforms are scheduled for the near future. Additionally, new sustainability reporting requirements may soon impact your business’s compliance and reporting obligations.

Staying up to date with these changes is essential for maintaining compliance and preparing your business for a smooth transition into the new financial year. Learn more>>
